I was intrigued by the use of these herbs to help give my skin a boost from with. It contains manjishta and neem for detoxification, as well as amia and turmeric for their antioxidant properties. These work together to support internal balance and purification. I think it will take longer term use than the couple weeks I’ve been taking it to see the positive results. Just like adding collagen to my smoothies for my complexion, I’m willing to keep trying this for a bit. The container contains a 1 month supply if consumed daily, which is a little over a buck a day. I’d like to see the price a bit lower since $35/month plus taxes adds up. I’m unsure what a fair price is for the ingredients, I just know it is pricey for me.

Out of the 5 ingredients in this powder's formula I am well acquainted with 4 of them: Turmeric, Neem, Amla and Aloe Vera - all excellent botanicals, each one is beneficent in their own way. The one I didn't know about was Manjistha, but I have read up on it and I am quite impressed with its qualities - and I am sure you will be impressed too, if you care to google this plant. One thing's for sure - all the components of this formula are Ayurvedic stars. And in this case all of them have something to contribute in promoting healthier skin.The taste of this powder is bitter, and it's no wonder - most of the bitterness probably comes from Neem, and some from Turmeric, I am sure. Lucky for me, I happen to love bitter tastes, so, besides dissolving it in water or milk (I use non-dairy), alternatively I even sprinkled it on my morning oatmeal; but for palates that are sensitive to bitter tastes, I would recommend a smoothie that has some fruit or something sweet, like stevia.I also want to say Kudos for the packaging - it came in a plastic jar that's easy to open and close, and inside it the powder was placed in a sealed plastic bag, the scoop was enclosed in the jar as well.And last (but not least), the product is USDA Organic, and altogether cleanly produced.
