Organic Spree Medohar Guggulu 120 Tablets - GMP Certified

The ingredients list is one that is all well known natural herbs used in ayurvedic medicines; however, talc, as many other reviewers have mentioned, needs some clarity as to its source. If the product is verified organic, one would assume the talc is free from contaminants, namely asbestos (class action lawsuits across the US for baby powders and talcum powders that contained asbestos); however, with a product made in India, and no listed organic verification other than "certified organic"... certified organic by who?I can't really comment on the quality in any other ways as I will not be taking these tablets. I would rather play it safe versus take something with questionable manufacturing and ingredients.

There's some things that I like about this supplement and some things that I don't. I certainly like the consideration that they put into the ingredients that are included like the dried ginger, black pepper, long pepper,haritaki, amla, and purified guggulu. These are great ingredients but it's also important to note that the tablets are also made of talc. I would prefer that they were not, but I'm hoping that the talc is a very low amount. I also like that this supplement is GMP certified and also complies with ISO and HACCP standards. This speaks to the quality that went into the manufacturing of the supplement. However, I don't like that it uses a proprietary blend as this doesn't provide enough information about the individual amounts of each ingredient. I also don't like that the supplement comes in tablets as this is why the talc is included and it makes it slightly more challenging to swallow them. I experienced some taste when taking these, but they were gentle on my stomach. I like that the supplement had a clear label denoting all the pertinent information and the expiration date. The bottle I received expires years after getting it. It came with a tight seal around the top to preserve the tablets and I didn't experience any side effects. I don't think it's necessarily the best value because of the proprietary blend, but the price is decent considering it's $27 for a 2-month.

Big fan of Ayurvedic remedies and supplements. This Medohar Guggulu blend had noticeable changes to my digestion and metabolism. After taking it for a few weeks, I noticed less bloat and water retention. The blend will detox your body noticeably, and it also reduces my blood sugar levels and improves my energy levels.

I'm trying Organic Spree’s Medohar Guggulu tablets to support my metabolism and immune health. The blend of herbs seems solid, but the only downside for me is the talc listed in the ingredients. I know talc is often used in making tablets, but it can sometimes carry asbestos contamination, which worries me, especially since this is marketed as an organic product. I wish they would find a safer alternative. Aside from that, it feels like a decent Ayurvedic formula, but I’m hesitant because of the talc.
