Gymnema, a wonderful, natural supplement to help regulate blood glucose and curb sugar cravings. I have a sweet tooth and an ice cream addiction. I am on prediabetic medication as my glucose has gotten out of control. I have been attempting to cut out sugar, but you know how hard that can be! I started drinking more water and trying some natural recourses, like taking supplements such as this. I am not quire sure on effectiveness so far, if it is placebo or working, but I have cut down some sugar. I will try this longer and see how well it does in the long run, but so far no complaints. It is a medium sized pill and not to hard to take.

Occasionally, like after visiting Paris, my body starts struggling with sugar cravings. Normally I do not crave sugar very much, but these are useful when I do, and can help me curb it out. Gymnema was originally brought to my attention by a reputable herbalist, and I am grateful all these years later to still find value in that knowledge. This may not be the most effective way to work with gymnema, but it is probably the most accessible and travel friendly way I can think of, with no taste due to coated discs. A good value & option if they are for occasional use.

Great product from a trusted company. Love that these are certified organic with company and certificate information readily available. These tablets are easy to take and provide about a month's worth of product if taking every day. No taste since these are coating. Would likely work much better if they were not. No adverse side effects were experienced.Gymnema is mainly used for sugar cravings but has a variety of health benefits that you can easily research. As with any supplement, benefits will be seen over time.

I've heard about gymnema sylvestre as an herb for curbing a sweet tooth, for years. I had never tried it until now. This stuff really does calm the cravings for sweets! I'm amazed.It's priced very well, for 120 tablets. The dosage directions on the bottle is two tablets a day for two weeks and then adjust it as needed.My doctor had me take two a day for only the first week, then go to one a day. And that's what I've done. It's working well. I haven't had any side effects.This brand is organic, and has no additives. The shelf life is a little more than two years out, November of 2027. It's easy to swallow. I take it about 30 minutes before a meal. I take mine before dinner. After dinner is when my worst cravings are for something sweet. Each tablet is 600 mg. Once it's in your system, taking two a day for a short time, that's when you can cut down to one a day. I really like this gymnema sylvestre. At about $19 for 120 it's a good value. Taken the way my doctor recommended, that's a week less than 4 months. I'll be putting this on my Amazon Subscribe & Save to save 30%, almost $2 per bottle !Thanks for reading. First off, this is a great quality product. It arrived sealed well and seemingly fresh.Honestly my only complaint is that while I had no issue swallowing the tablet, my wife said because of the odd size it was a bit difficult for her. It's flat but rather wide.If you have no issues with odd sized tables, I'd recommend.

First and foremost, this product has the ability to provide several benefits, including the reduction of blood sugar as well as promoting weight loss. However, no one (other than possibly those who are examples of the placebo effect) will experience those benefits because swallowing a coated tablet eliminates those benefits!Gymnema leaves have been used for centuries to block a person's sweetness receptors on their tongue. The gymnema leaves were chewed to obtain this effect, which lasts for 30-60 minutes in most people. By blocking the sweet receptors, it makes most sweet things less enjoyable at best, and downright unpalatable at worst.This product has the ability to block sweet receptors. I used a very sharp chef's knife to split a tablet into quarters, crushed a quarter tablet, mixed the powder in a couple ounces of water, and then swirled the mixture in my mouth for about 15 seconds before swallowing it.And guess what? I was unable to taste sweetness for about 40 minutes! I tried a half-teaspoon of pure maple syrup, and all I sensed was a difffuse mapley flavor. I also tried a piece of Milka chocolate, and all I sensed was a creamy/oily diffuse chocolatey flavor. Neither was remotely as good as normal, and I would have no interest in consuming more of either.So manufacturer: give some thought to offering gymnema in a format that requires coating the tongue. Maybe a bulk powder. Maybe gummies. Or whatever.I'll give this product three stars because it does work, with the potential for being a five-star product if was available in a fornat such as bulk powder or gummies.NOTE: you only need a quarter-tablet (perhaps even less) to achieve the sweet-deadening effect. And you must take this amount whenever you get a sugar craving because the deadening effect is short-term. As for this product's ayervedic claims, two words come to mind: caveat emptor.

I like taking this Gymnema for sugar control , weight management and it deceases my sugar cravings This brand is reasonably priced, easy to swallow, and is the dosage I like.
