Organic Spree Punarnavadi Guggulu 120 Tablets - GMP Certified

These are medium sized tablets. Each serving is 2 tablets and there are 60 servings per bottle. Punarnavadi Guggulu is a supplement that supports kidney health, liver function, and reduces swelling. I did some research on this prior to taking. The company is reputable and the product appears to have very good ingredients to support the benefits. However upon opening the bottle the smell was very strong and the taste was just as strong. As a result, I was not able to complete the bottle. Maybe if this was produced in a gel cap formula, you would not experience the smell or the taste and would be easier to consume. For those reasons, I can only rate this as 2 stars.

There are many ingredients in this that I like to see in an ayurvedic supplement including punarnava, long pepper, ginger, castor oil, dantimool, and guggulu. All the quality of the ingredients are the standout feature of the supplement l, but the one downside is that these quality ingredients are included in a proprietary blend. Unfortunately, the proprietary blend makes it difficult to understand the individual amounts of each ingredient, which raises a transparency issue. It's also unfortunate that the supplement includes talc, but I think the amounts are very small just to help the tablets maintain their form. Tablets are not my preferred option for a supplement, however, I found that these medium sized tablets were not that difficult to swallow. I didn't experience any taste or aftertaste with these tablets nor was there an unpleasant smell when opening the bottle. I'm glad that the supplement is GMP certified as this gives me peace of mind about its quality during the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about the supplement being non-GMO or soy free. I feel like the supplement could be improved by providing that information. That being said, the bottle seemed professionally labeled and had an easy to find expiration date that was 2 years from the time of receiving the supplement. The tablets were in excellent condition and had not broken apart in the bottle. Although I like the ingredients in the supplement, I feel as if it could benefit from more transparency.

Pill form and a little on the larger size but can be swallowed without too much of a problem. They do have a odd smell and taste that you just have to power though especially if the pill does not go down quick enough and gets held up in your mouth. Make sure you drink plenty of water with this product. I have not really notice much of a difference except they seem to make me pee a lot. But that also could just be the increase of water intake. I have tried other products from this same company and overall have been very happy.

I've really come to appreciate this Ayurvedic company. I've tried their supplements for Arjuna, Mucuna, and am always impressed with the results.This is supposed to help with kidney health, aiding detox pathways and reducing bloat and water retention. I fell it really does that.I also appreciate how these supplements by this company are pressed tablets, essentially making them full and potent if ingredients that matter - no fillers or endless capsules
